Call for Research Project Symposium Proposals

This year, ECOOP, ECMFA and ECSA will take place in colocation from the 1st to the 5th of July in Montpellier, France.

The Research Project Symposium was first organised with ECOOP 2011 and this year it aims to gather researchers from the various communities : object-oriented programming, modeling and software architecture domains.
The objectives of this event are:

  • To foster European research interaction by providing an explicit opportunity for  European researchers from industry and academia to make new contacts and start discussions that may lead to new project proposals and projects at the European level ;
  • To provide European research projects (ongoing or ended projects) with an additional opportunity for disseminating their results, enhancing the dissemination via academic papers or industrial training ;
  • To provide industrial and academic partners from European research projects with an opportunity to meet and interact the world's top researchers in the field, and find out about new developments and ideas that may influence their work in their own projects ; and
  • To provide European research projects with an additional opportunity for organizing a meeting gathering partners attending the main conference.

We would like to invite you to submit a proposal for a contribution. All accepted contributions will be made available to the general public through a dedicated on-line resource.

Contribution could have various formats:

  • tutorial-style session to present project's results and how these results could be transferred beyond the scope of the projects
  • tool demons to present project's results
  • posters
  • mini sessions for a meeting (private or public)

Participation in this event can, thus, contribute significantly to the dissemination activities of your European research project.
