Classic aggregation model alone, such as Brownian motion, of macromolecules cannot explain the quick enzymatic response in living systems. Here, the authors have experimentally demonstrated a pre-requisite of the activation of a new scheme of communication between biomolecule: the long-range electrodynamic interactions. Using near-field teraHertz-spectroscopy, they have experimentally demonstrated that the molecules start collectively resonating in agreement with a semi-classical phonon-condensation model (Frolhich-1972).
