Travelling and Tourism
Last Informations (Thu August 13)
- Is you have some problems to find the accommodation of Randschool when you
arrive in Montpellier, you can call the following phone number : 04
67 99 78 78. If you have a problem, a minibus can come to the station or to the airport and
carry you to the accommodation.
- There will be informations from the Richter bus stop to find the
accomodation of Randschool.
- Take care that there is a lot of civil engineering in Montpellier
this summer. So it is difficult to use a car to come to Randschool
in Montpellier.
By Plane
Montpellier Airport ("Aéroport Montpellier Méditerranée") is 10 km away from downtown. There are some international flights, but in most cases you will
have to travel via Paris (Charles de Gaulle Roissy airport or Orly
Airport, about one hour flight to Montpellier).
Bus service ("navette")
drives you from the airport to the Railway Station downtown. It takes 15
minutes and costs 25 francs. For the return journey, there is one bus
per hour to the airport.
Obviously, you also have taxis: they cost roughly 80-90 francs, depending on luggage (110 francs night fare).
By Train
Montpellier is 4h15 away from Paris ("Gare de Lyon" station) with the
TGV High Speed train.

How to go to the school ?
The ENACT school is approximatively 30-40 minutes walking from the railway
station.

You can take Bus Number 2 (Bus stops are in the
front of the railways station), and leave it at the
RICHTER bus stop. The bus ticket cost is 7 French
Francs. You can purchase 10 tickets for 53 FF.
On the following picture you can see the line bus number 2, the railways station and the
ENACT (location of RandSchool) which is close to "Faculté de droit,
de sciences economiques et de gestion de Richter".
During the month of August, a Reduced bus service ("Service
réduit") is applied. You can find the hours of buses at each bus
stop, or at the "Agence Commerciale de la SMTU" (business agency of
the bus company) - 27, rue Maguelone (50 meters from the
railway station) - Montpellier - tel : 04
67 22 87 87.
If you have to ask somebody about the location of the ENACT School,
ask rather about RICHTER which is well known in Montpellier.
