Location

WG 2009 will be held in Montpellier, France. Montpellier is situated on hilly ground 10 km inland from the Mediterranean coast on the River Lez. There is an international airport in Montpellier. The city is also served by railway, including TGV trains. The distance between Montpellier and Paris is about 750 km and it takes about 3 hours and half by train.

The conference center is located in Montpellier city center and can be easily reached by the tramway network.
