LIRMM offers two solutions for transferring your files that are too large for e-mail:

• Anonymous FTP service: ftp.lirmm.fr
  
  • This service was set-up to facilitate file exchange for both local and outside users.
    
  • Freely accessible to anonymous users, this FTP service does not guarantee file privacy.
    
  
  
  
• FileX (authentication required). This service enables you to:
  
  • Make files up to 300 MB accessible (maximum total volume of 600 MB) for a duration of 1 to 30 days, renewable 2 times,
    
  • Protect your files with a password,
    
  • Check the download history of your files.
    
  • The Help tab gives you access to all the details regarding the FileX application, developed by Fabien Chaudier and Olivier Franco at the Computer Science Resource Center at INSA, Lyon.
