About me

Laurent in Le Modele Turing I am a research scientist ("Chargé de Recherche") at the CNRS. After spending seven years at the LIAFA (now IRIF) in Paris, with a one-year break in 2013-2014 spent at the CNRS lab J-V Poncelet in Moscow, I joined the Escape team of the LIRMM, at the University of Montpellier.

[My complete CV]

My main research interest is algorithmic randomness and Kolmogorov complexity, and its connections to computability theory and analysis.

I am on the editorial board of the Bulletin of Symbolic Logic and of the Springer book series Theory and Applications of Computability. If you are thinking of writing a book or survey in computability theory or related areas, maybe we should talk :-)
