Current Projects
Due to the growth of resources on the Web and to their heterogeneousness, it is difficult to find the relevant resources to answer a user's request. Our goal is to modelise, organise and personalize resources available on the web and for that, provide web pages which contain the significant information and especially the sequence of resources and their personalized presentation. We work to solve problems generated by the identification and composition steps. This step includes the discovery of resources, for example from services, and their enrichment which will facilitate their use, using tasks like classification, semantic marking and indexing. Semantic marking requires models and help tools to annote and manage ontologies. Some specific methods of indexing are used to organize these annotations and ontologies.
We represent pedagogical resources with S-Nodes graphs and adapt algorithms in the context of Education.

These studies have been applied in the field of e-learning, in order to help a teacher preparing his course. The goal is to model and synchronize the teaching resources available on the Web, in order to design, evaluate and revise a course. So, Assistance is given to create courses by enriching an ontology of teaching concepts.
Supported by a Specific Action of the CNRS, by a Color action of INRIA, and by the European Network of Excellence "Kaleidoscope", we participated to the identification of open problems
Supported by the action "Web Semantic and Learning" of Kaleidoscope NoE, and in collaboration with others partners, we proposed a methodology based on users roles (teacher, student) to identify and describe scenarios of semantic annotation of learning contents.
This work is relevant of Research and Development and consists to design a prototype for the management of offers of formations of Universities in the context of European Higher System (called LMD in French).
The prototype has been implemented essentially by students in engineering (master level).

Prospectives
 For the elearning application, this concern either the learner during his training  according his asset and if its training context, or the teache in his role of design of course, by taking of account semantic aspects through ontologies.
How to guarantee the validity of distributed informations and resources?

These works will apply to the field of education, but also in a general way for research, composition and diffusion of information and resources accessible to the Web.
