focalis l'attention du grand public autant que des artistes infographistes, sur la thmatique du chaos, des fractales et de la thorie scientifique de la complexit. Certains ont voulu y voir un simple divertissement ludique li  la programmation d'algorithmes sur ordinateurs, ou bien, au contraire, une vritable esthtique spiritualiste ou psychdlique ! Pourtant, les &nbsp;fractales&nbsp; numriques ne constituent pas davantage une mode lie  l'extension gnrale des micro-ordinateurs personnels, qu'une forme de pense mystique ou esthtisante, comme aiment  le sous-entendre quelquefois certains artistes infographistes ou musiciens dont l'esprit est teint de mtaphysique du &nbsp;chaos&nbsp;. Elles reprsentent d'abord l'expression technologique d'une conception (scientifique) instrumente de la complexit morphologique des formes qui sont irrgulires  toute chelle d'observation, quand elles sont examines sous le &nbsp;microscope&nbsp; de la mathmatique infographique. Depuis les annes 1980, de nombreux artistes internationaux se sont inspir de ce modle scientifique et infographique pour crer des uvres de toute nature, avec des supports et des matriaux souvent traditionnels.<br></span></p> <p id=PubSt1P><span id=PubSt1F><br></span></p> <p id=PubSt1P><span id=PubSt1F>Le &nbsp;pre&nbsp; de ce mouvement artistique international est sans conteste le mathmaticien-informaticien franais (vivant  New-York), Benot Mandelbrot. Ds les annes 1970, celui-ci a popularis les figures fractales d'ordinateur, ainsi que les raisonnements gomtriques qui les sous-tendent.
