Sa qu&#234;te durait depuis plusieurs dizaines d'ann&#233;es. Un jour, un myst&#233;rieux <i> elfe</i> vint lui proposer son aide...C'est le premier chapitre de ses aventures que nous ouvrons aujourd'hui, dans ce livre situ&#233; aux <i> fronti&#232;res</i> de cette myst&#233;rieuse province. <P> <b> ABSTRACT:</b> The theoretical framework of hard exclusive reactions is reviewed with special emphasis on the Elfe project program. Perturbative QCD studies have shown that factorization properties allow to separate well-defined non perturbative objects which are crucial in the understanding of confinement dynamics from perturbatively calculable hard processes. The applicability of this factorization in a definite energy domain is controlled by some definite statements, as the dimensional counting rules, the helicity conservation law and the appearance of color transparency. The few data available indicate that the Elfe parameters indeed correspond to this well defined physics. <P> <BR> <HR> <UL> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html4 HREF="node1.html#SECTION00010000000000000000"> Introduction</A> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html5 HREF="node2.html#SECTION00020000000000000000"> Factorization : The example of form factors</A> <UL> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html6 HREF="node3.html#SECTION00021000000000000000"> Sudakov effects</A> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html7 HREF="node4.html#SECTION00022000000000000000"> Leading log analysis</A> </UL> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html8 HREF="node5.html#SECTION00030000000000000000"> Exclusive reactions at ELFE </A> <UL> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html9 HREF="node6.html#SECTION00031000000000000000"> Compton Scattering </A> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html10 HREF="node7.html#SECTION00032000000000000000"> A strategy for data analysis </A> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html11 HREF="node8.html#SECTION00033000000000000000"> Other processes </A> </UL> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html12 HREF="node9.html#SECTION00040000000000000000"> Color Transparency </A> <UL> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html13 HREF="node10.html#SECTION00041000000000000000"> The idea </A> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html14 HREF="node11.html#SECTION00042000000000000000"> Available data </A> </UL> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html15 HREF="node12.html#SECTION00050000000000000000"> Conclusion </A> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html16 HREF="node13.html#SECTION00060000000000000000">References</A> <LI> <A NAME=tex2html17 HREF="node14.html#SECTION00070000000000000000"> About this document ... </A> </UL> <BR> <HR> <P><ADDRESS> <I>web-sphn <BR> Tue Jun 6 18:17:21 MET DST 1995</I> </ADDRESS> </BODY>
