Research summary

• My current research topic is the emergence of individual and collective behaviour. The long term goal is to elaborate a theoretical foundation to or at least an understanding of human knowledge, i.e. how human beings happen to know what they know.
• I managed the CASCAD Team (the pages are archives only) at the University of Neuchâtel for ten years.
• I have been animator of the COLLINE (COLLectif-INteraction-Emergence, archives only) working group of AFIA and GDR-I3 and responsible for the Working group SMA (Multi-Agent Systems, archives only) of GDR-I3.
• I am currently managing the team GREEN (Common Pool Ressources Management) whose aim is to support collective decision making by modelling and simulation using, among others, multi-agent systems.
• I am co-editor of 5 books and author and co-author of 25 publications.
