Research
I am working in the wireless sensor networks. Especialy, i focus on
localization, routing and broadcast problem (for static or mobile sensor
networks).
Localization problem: After deployment, sensors have to deduce exact
or estimated positions according to some sensors (called anchors) equipped
with localization module (e.g. Galileo, GPS, ...). Sensors
can measure distance or angle with technologies ToA, RSSI, AoA,... Due to energy constraints, the number
of anchors has to be very small.
Routing problem: when a sensor detects an event, it has to alert a
base station. To route its message towards this destination,
it uses a multi-hops routing according to sensor
geographic positions.
Broadcast problem: in some applications, a sensor has to communicate a message
to all other sensors in the network. Due to energy
constraints, a simple flooding
cannot be apply in sensor networks. An broadcast strategy
has to be defined.
Each sensor is equipped with little battery and all these problems
have to minimize energy consumption. Therefore, The number of
computations and communications have to be minimized.
