Welcome on my website! I am currently working in the Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity of Münster (Germany), as a post-doctoral researcher in the Evolutionary Bioinformatics group led by Erich Bornberg-Bauer. I hope to find in the future (after this postdoc...) a position of Associate Professor in a French University. I obtained my PhD in Bioinformatics on December 2010, working in Olivier Gascuel's team, Methods et Algorithms in Bioinformatics (MAB) in the Laboratory of Informatics, Robotics, and Microelectronics in Montpellier (LIRMM). My PhD supervisor, Laurent Bréhélin, was/is involved in a project (funded by the National Research Agency - ANR) in collaboration with Eric Maréchal from iRTSV/LPCV lab of the CEA (Atomic Energy Commission) in Grenoble - where I worked during a year in 2009 - and Isabelle Florent from the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN) of Paris. This project, named Plasmoexplore, involves functional annotation Plasmodium falciparum, the main causal agent of human lethal malaria. My interests are the detection of protein domains with Hidden Markov Models, domain architecture evolution, supervised and unsupervised learning methods and statistical approaches. I hope you'll found on this website all information you need concerning my researches, publications, CV, conferences, and teaching. And if you need something else do not hesitate to contact me! |
