Regular Sessions
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers in topics of interest. Submissions should be done via the workshop web-site and consist of either an extended summary of at least 750 words or a full paper.
Intent is to have the accepted papers be published in a IEEE Computer Society Proceedings available on the IEEE digital library.
A selection of papers dealing with biosensors, devices and microsystems will be invited for resubmission to a special issue of IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems.

Special Event Session with CMC Microsystems
Carrier Platform for Testing of Microfluidics Applications
CMC Microsystems has developed a carrier platform for microfluidics applications that facilitates testing of devices with microfluidic, electronic, and optical functionality. This session will feature a demo of the CMC system, presentations by users/potential users of the platform from the IMS3TW and larger research community, and will end with a joint
IMS3TW/CMC meeting to discuss a roadmap and challenges for facilitating cooperation between CMC and users/potential users from IMS3TW.
Both existing and potential platform users are encouraged to submit an abstract for presentation at this special session. Submissions should be done via the workshop web-site. |
