Research
I do research on all aspects of Graph Theory, Algorithms, and Combinatorics.
My research is focused on the following topics:
1. the algorithmic applications/consequences of Structural Graph Theory,
2. the links between Logic and Algorithms, via the proof of Algorithmic Meta-theorems,
3. all aspects of Parameterized Algorithms and Complexity
4. the study of Graph Parameters, their combinatorial properties, and their algorithmic applications and
5. applications of Graph Theory in topics such as Data Mining, Bioinformatics, Combinatorial Games, and Network design.
