Madeleine Abernot | Ph.D. Student

Ms. Madeleine Abernot first joined our team as a CNRS research engineer in 2020. After this experience, she then decided to pursue a Ph.D.  degree at the same year. She is working on the topic of neuromorphic computing and digital implementation of oscillatory neural networks on FPGAs. Ms. Abernot has an engineering degree from the ENSEIRB Matmeca, Bordeaux, France.

Adrien Suau | Ph.D. Student

Adrien Suau is a Ph.D. student at the University of Montpellier, France. He holds an engineering degree in Computer Science & Applied Mathematics from ENSIMAG, the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble as well as a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Applied Mathematics. His PhD research focuses on the development of quantum basic linear algebra subprograms in collaboration with CERFACS, TOTAL and LIRMM.

Siyuan Niu | Ph.D. Student

Siyuan Niu is a Ph.D. student at the University of Montpellier, France. She has received her master’s degree in Embedded Systems from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in 2019. Her PhD research focuses on the Quantum CAD development for hybrid quantum-classical circuit simulation.

Corentin Delacour | Ph.D. Student

Corentin Delacour is a Ph.D. student at the University of Montpellier, France. He holds an engineering degree from CentraleSupelec in Paris and a Master of Science degree in Microelectronics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). His PhD research focuses on the architecture design for oscillatory neural networks.

Tieying Xu | Post-Doctoral Researcher

Dr. Tieying Xu is a Post-Doc researcher at IES/University of Montpellier, France under the co-supervision of Dr. Benoit Charlot. She is currently working on fabrication and characterisation of 1D/2D nanomaterial sensors for health monitoring wearable devices.

Gabriele Boschetto | Post-Doctoral Researcher

Dr. Gabriele Boschetto is a Post-Doc Research Fellow at the CNRS-LIRMM/University of Montpellier, France under the supervision of Dr. Aida Todri-Sanial. He is working on atomistic-to device-level simulation of 1D and 2D materials (i.e., MoS2, WS2) for field effect devices. He has a PhD in Computational Chemistry from the University of South Hampton, UK in 2019.

Stefania Carapezzi | Post-Doctoral Researcher

Dr. Stefania Capapezzi joined our team as a CNRS Post-Doc Research Fellow. She is currently working on TCAD device modeling and simulation for the EU H2020 NeurONN and EU H2020 SmartVista projects. Dr. Carapezzi has a PhD in Physics from the University of Bologna, Italy in 2014.

Eirini Karachristou | Project Manager

Ms. Eirini Karachristou joined our team as a European Project Manager for the EU H2020 NeurONN project. Ms. Karachristou has a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Athens, Greece and a double master’s degree in European and Social Comparative Law from the University Capitole 1 of Toulouse, France and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

Reda Bouaabdalli | Intern

Bouaabdalli Reda is a student at the University of Montpellier, France. He’s preparing a master’s degree in Integrated Electronic Systems. In the frame of the EU H2020 NeurONN project, he conducting research on compact modelling simulation of phase change VO2 devices for neuromorphic computing.

Anthony Aoun | Intern

Anthony Aoun is a student at ENSTA Paris, France. In the frame of the EU H2020 NeurONN project,  he is conducting research on development of Ising model based optimisation algorithms for oscillatory neural network.

Johnny Yammine | Intern

Johnny Yammine is a master student at ENSTA Paris, France. In the frame of the EU H2020 NeurONN project,  he is conducting research on developing stochastic algorithms for learning and inference on oscillatory neural networks.
