My topics of interests are graph theory and algorithmic graph theory with special interest in graph decomposition methods, width parameters, graph classes and parameterized algorithms.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-308d2ff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"308d2ff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>I defended my PhD in 1998 at University of Montpellier. After being assistant professeur at University of Bordeaux (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.labri.fr\">LaBRI<\/a>), in 2001, I obtained a permanent full-time researcher at CNRS and joint again <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lirmm.fr\">LIRMM<\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4086aba elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4086aba\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In 2007, when I returned from a sabbatical at McGill University (Montr\u00e9al, Canada), with my colleagues from LIRMM, we created the research team <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lirmm.fr\/algco\/\">AlGCo<\/a>. I was col-leader of that team till &nbsp;2011. Then I get involved in the direction team of my research department from 2010 to 2013 (as the head in the period 2012-2013). From &nbsp;July 2015 to September 2021 and again since June 2024, I am serving as deputy director of LIRMM.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a CNRS researcher (Directeur de Recherche) in the AlGCo team at LIRMM (University of Montpellier).
