Private Information

For many years, moutaineering has become a great hobby for me. I am lucky to live in France, which is the center of the European alpine regions and where stands the famous Mont Blanc (4807m), the highest peak in Europe. In addition, the Mont Blanc offers a wide range which is a paradise for alpinists.

My formation has been ensured by Jean-Marie Ohl, who is a remarkable guide of the Association Internationale des Guides du Mont Blanc (AIGMB) at Chamonix (France), which is, in my opinion, the world capital of moutaineering. My experience of expeditions has been brought by Jean Annequin, who is a guide of MontagnesDuMonde.fr and especially a reference for expeditions from France.

Here is a list of some of my treks and expeditions:

  • Piton de la Fournaise (Reunion island, 2631m, November 2000)
  • Mont Blanc (France, 4807m, August 2001), highest peak in Europe
  • Kilimanjaro (Tanzania, 5963m, August 2003), highest peak in Africa
  • Ausangate (Peru, 6384m, August 2004), highest peak in the cordillera Vilcanota
  • Aconcagua (Argentina, 6962m, January 2005), highest peak in America
  • Teide (Tenerife island, 3718m, August 2005), highest peak in Spain
  • Aragats (Armenia, 4095m, November 2007), highest peak in Armenia
  • La Soufrière (Guadeloupe island, 1467m, August 2008), highest peak in Guadeloupe
