Former postdoctoral researcher in computer science funded by the Institute of Computational Biology for 2 years from october 2015. During his fellowship, Rodrigo worked mostly on the design of compressed index data structures for sequencing data and published notably two articles at the Data Compression Conference.
Obtained a PhD in engineering from The University of Melbourne in 2015.
