Title of PhD project: Harnessing RNA chemistry for immune reprogramming in inflammatory diseases

Project as part of the “IMMUN4CURE” IHU project.

Victoire investigates how custom mRNA synthesis can help to reprogram macrophages, which contributes to the immunological response in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. For that sake, she will use transcriptomics and epitranscriptmics of macrophages to characterize the biological functions activated during inflammation. She performs experiments and analysis in the team “RNA epigenetic and translational control” at the Institute for Cancer Research of Montpellier (IRCM).
