Bioinformatic analysis of Next Generation Sequencing data

Overview

An intensive training week (in French) dedicated to bioinformatic analysis of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data.

This training gives you an introduction to all major tasks of NGS analysis from the theoretical (algorithms, statistics) to practical sides.

Program includes

  1. Introduction to linux and shell commands
  2. NGS data: current technologies, file formats
  3. Preprocessing, cleaning, filtering
  4. Mapping: locating reads on a reference genome or transcriptome
  5. Transcriptomics: RNA-seq analysis from mapping to statistical analysis (with R)
  6. Genome assembly: assembly graphs, algorithms, polishing
  7. Metagenomics
