Congratulations Jordan!
Jordan Moutet has completed and successfully defended his Master thesis on the computational question of Ancestral Sequence Reconstruction. He specifically studied the difficulty of inferring ancestral insertions and deleteions (see Figure).
Moreover, Jordan applied and obtained a Phd fellowship on this topic. He will join the team for three years to investigate it in depth starting in September 2022.
