Fabio is a full time CNRS researcher in the bioinformatics team of the LIRMM. We co-supervised together the PhD thesis of Nikolay Romashchenko (2018-2021) about phylo-k-mers computation and computational methods for phylogenetic placement.
Now, we co-supervise the PhD thesis of Jordan Moutet about ancestral sequence reconstruction.
We also co-supervised Guillaume Scholz, who developed the first version of the tool SHERPAS.
Fabio Pardi is a chargé de recherche at the CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research) and the LIRMM (Laboratory of Computer Science, Robotics and Microelectronics of Montpellier). He received his PhD in Bioinformatics at the University of Cambridge and the European Bioinformatics Institute in 2009. His research interests include mathe- matical models and computationally-efficient methods for the study of evolution at every time scale.
