Congratulations to Nikolay Romashchenko on his successful PhD defense on 15th of December 2021.
In front of a jury led by Prof. Nick Goldman from EBI in UK, he presented his algorithmic contributions to the computation and storage of phylo-k-mers, a key concept for the analysis of metagenomic sequence data.
After a long session of questions and discussion, the jury has awarded him the title of Doctor of the University of Montpellier, with his warm congratulations.
