Announcement from AxLR SATT

Technological maturation project

Funding secure for a cancer diagnostic development project

Following our results on a new method for cancer diagnostics, which combines epigenetic modifications of RNA and an AI based decision tool, we have recently be awarded funding for a research and development program to increase the technological readiness of our approach. The funding is provided by the regional “Society for Accelaration of Technological transfert” (SATT) AxLR and will cover two years of development.

The goal is to extend the proof of concept obtained on brain cancer on other cancers and to validate the results on larger cohorts of patients.

Three labs in Montpellier are involved in this project: the PPC of the University hospital, the IGF on the Campus Arnaud de Villeneuve, and the LIRMM on the Campus St Priest (all of which are in close vicinity).

Thanks to the SATT members involved in managing the funding application.
