The TFJM² is a prestigious national competition that values both mathematical research methods and team spirit. It offers a unique opportunity for high school students to develop their scientific reasoning, creativity, and mathematical communication skills.
This tournament also allows students to engage with academics and professionals while fostering their passion for mathematics in a stimulating and supportive environment.
Key Points:
➤ The tournament is primarily aimed at motivated students in 11th and 12th grade (Première and Terminale).
➤ Teams work on original mathematical problems, designed by a scientific committee, several months before the competition.
➤ The regional phase will take place on May 3-4, 2025, in Montpellier, at the Faculty of Science Campus.
➤ For the first time, Montpellier is hosting a regional edition of the TFJM². More than nine teams have qualified for this edition, with over 50 students participating.
➤ The best teams will qualify for the national final, which will be held from May 18 to 20, 2025, at ENS Paris-Saclay.
The Montpellier organizing committee consists of Abdelkader Gouaïch (LIRMM), Amadeus Reinald (LIRMM), and David Théret (IMAG).
