This week, Ahmed Chemori had the honor of representing LIRMM by leading a workshop at the 3rd International Conference on Autonomous Vehicle Systems (UVS-OMAN 2026), held February 9-11, 2026, in Muscat, Oman.
The workshop, entitled “Robust Control of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Motion,” addressed advanced robust control issues applied to autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs):
- dynamic modeling in uncertain environments,
- consideration of hydrodynamic disturbances,
- robust and adaptive control approaches,
- experimental validation and application prospects.
This invitation highlights the international recognition of the work carried out at LIRMM in the field of marine robotics and the control of complex dynamic systems.
Ahmed Chemori warmly thanks the organizing committee for the invitation and the exceptional welcome given to the participants.
