I-Lab 2020 Innovation Competition: 73 Innovators-Entrepreneurs Awarded, 10 Grand Prizes Awarded
Maintained despite the health crisis linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 22nd edition of the i-Lab innovation contest, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in partnership with Bpifrance, distinguishes 73 winners including 10 Grand Prizes. Specificities of the 2020 promotion: an increased presence of women, who represent 20% of the winners, a majority of projects from public research (59%) and a predominance of the fields of health and digital (80%). Over the years, i-Lab asserts its decisive role in supporting the creation of deeptech start-ups and, more broadly, confirms its major contribution to the French innovation system.
