Antoine Petit, president of the CNRS came to Montpellier for the signing of scientific partnership agreements between the CNRS, the University of Montpellier, Paul Valéry and the School of Chemistry as part of the recovery plan and the CPER.
On this occasion, the LIRMM was pleased to welcome him to the New Faculty of Medicine, accompanied by Jérôme Vitre, regional delegate of the CNRS, Philippe Augé, President of the University of Montpellier, Sophie Béjean, Rector of the Occitanie region, as well as Mickael Delafosse, Mayor of Montpellier, Marie-Thérèse Mercier, representative of the Region and Michel Mondain, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
They were able to attend a presentation of the LIRMM as well as a visit of the training and learning center through simulation on the 4th floor of the new Faculty of Medicine. 3 demonstrations on the LIRMM’s surgical robotics platforms were presented to them.

Then they went to Cap Oméga to visit 3 startups in which LIRMM researchers are involved:
– AcuSurgical (Robot-assisted retinal surgery)
– Anatoscope (Digital anatomy for personalized healthcare)
– Algodone (Secure activation licensing technology)
