Danièle Hérin, university professor in computer science, Member of Parliament for the 1st constituency of Aude from 2017 to 2022, President of the University of Montpellier from 2008 to 2012.

For his contribution to the deployment of computer science in high schools, and for his unwavering commitment, which led to the creation of the core curriculum in the second year of general and technological high school, Digital Sciences and Technology (SNT), the specialization in the 1st and final years of high school, Digital and Computer Sciences (NSI), and the associated CAPES.

Société informatique de France (SIF) is an Association under the French law of 1901, created in May 2012, it has been recognized as a public utility since September 2018. It is administered by a Board of Directors and a Bureau elected in accordance with the Articles of Association.

As France’s learned society for IT, its mission is to give a voice to this science and technology, and to bring together all those for whom advancing IT is a profession or a passion, whether they come from academia or the socio-economic world.
