From 12 to 20 May 2026, Cannes will host Cannes Next, the Marché du Film’s platform dedicated to innovation in the entertainment industry. This international event showcases emerging technologies — notably artificial intelligence — that are transforming filmmaking practices.
As part of this programme, Ganesh Gowrishankar, a research director at the CNRS affiliated with the LIRMM, will speak on the panel: “AI & Advanced Science Transforming Cinema: Japanese Showcase of Innovation”
