The 14th edition of MODs returns this year with a major theme:
“Bioinformatics at the service of society.” This event highlights the central role of bioinformatics in understanding scientific and societal issues, whether in health, the environment, agriculture, or the life sciences.
In this context, Dr. Éric Rivals, Director of Research at LIRMM, will give a lecture entitled:
“Exploiting chemical modifications of RNA as biomarkers.”
During this presentation, Dr. Rivals will explain how analyzing RNA modifications can help to better diagnose and understand many diseases, illustrating the concrete impact of bioinformatics on society and health.
