The MIC Department at LIRMM is participating in a new European academic consortium launched by IMEC, bringing together 26 university groups focused on next-generation integrated circuit technologies.
The goal is to contribute to the technology roadmap beyond CMOS scaling, as part of the CMOS 2.0 program.
At LIRMM, this participation is led by several members of the MIC Department:
- Pascal Benoit, Head of the MIC Department
- Pascal Nouet, Professor at the University of Montpellier
- David Novo, Head of the ADAC Team
- Frédéric Mailly, Associate Professor at the University of Montpellier
- With contributions from Thomas Falanga (postdoctoral researcher), Johann Teissier, and Felipe Paiva Alencar (doctoral students).
The team is involved in three research projects within the consortium, contributing to European advancements in advanced semiconductor technologies.
