The DeepPulseNeuro project was recognized at the 2025 edition of the i-Lab national innovation competition, organized by Bpifrance. This prestigious award highlights the scientific excellence and strong technological potential of this deep tech project, which originated in the Montpellier ecosystem and public research.
DeepPulseNeuro is developing innovative endovascular EEG technology, a new approach that provides access to brain activity via the vascular route. This method aims to improve the accuracy of epilepsy diagnosis, reduce the invasiveness of current procedures, and open up new prospects for patient care, particularly in drug-resistant forms of the disease.
The project benefits from the expertise of Serge Bernard, co-founder and renowned scientist in the field of neuroscience. Thanks to his vision and experience, he has played a key role in the development of the technology and the strategic direction of the project, helping to transform scientific advances into concrete medical solutions.
Winner in a particularly favorable context for the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée region, ranked among the most awarded regions at the national level in 2025, DeepPulseNeuro illustrates the ability of the region’s laboratories and research teams to transform cutting-edge scientific advances into high-impact medical innovations.
This i-Lab award is a milestone for the project, boosting its visibility, credibility, and appeal to industrial partners and investors, and confirming the key role of academic research in the development of tomorrow’s neurotechnologies.
